Australian National Aged Care Classification System: AN-ACC
The Final Report of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety (published March, 2021) recommended that Aged Care funding be delivered through a Casemix classification system – such as AN-ACC. AN-ACC is a classification tool and all aged care recipients from October 1, 2022 receive funding based on being allocated a Classification of 1 to 13.
